Hibachi catering in Florida
Our Florida chef works out of Orlando, off International Drive, and we cover the whole state. Greater Orlando, Kissimmee and the Disney-area vacation-home corridor are a short drive; Tampa, Sarasota, Naples, Jacksonville, the Space Coast, Miami and the Keys are booked just the same.
A chef, a portable hibachi grill and the full teppanyaki show arrive at your address. You provide the space; we bring the cooking, the entertainment and the cleanup. 108 Florida cities are listed below.

Booking hibachi in Florida — what actually matters
The screened lanai problem
Almost every Florida house has a pool cage or a screened lanai, and it is the first place people assume the chef will set up. We cannot cook there. A teppanyaki griddle throws open flame and a great deal of smoke; a screen enclosure traps both and the mesh melts. We set up outside the cage — driveway, open patio or lawn — and guests eat under the lanai afterwards. Worth knowing before you plan the seating.
Vacation rentals around Disney
Reunion, ChampionsGate, Windsor Hills, Solara, Storey Lake and the rest of the Kissimmee and Davenport corridor are a large share of what we cook. Give us the rental address when you book — you do not need to own the house. Do check the property manager's rules first: most allow outdoor cooking away from the building, a few forbid it outright, and the chef cannot overrule a management company on the day.
Afternoon storms, June to September
Central Florida summer storms are heavy, loud and usually over in an hour. We plan the cook time around the forecast rather than cancelling. What the chef needs is cover over the grill, not over the table: an open garage, a carport, or a pop-up canopy does it. If a named storm is forecast for your date we reschedule without penalty — that is in our terms, not a favour.
Gated communities and HOAs
South Florida and the Gulf coast are dense with gated communities, and the gate is the part that goes wrong. Leave the chef's name at the guardhouse or send a gate code the day before. Some HOAs also restrict propane or open flame on common property; if your event is at a clubhouse or community pool rather than a private lot, check before you book.
Snowbird season and spring break
January through March the Gulf coast and the Palm Beaches fill with seasonal residents, and March brings spring break on top of it. Those are the hardest weekends of the Florida year to get a chef. Book three to four weeks out for anything between January and April; the rest of the year two weeks is usually enough.

Florida hibachi catering questions
Where is your Florida chef based?
Orlando — 5683 Vineland Rd, off International Drive. Greater Orlando, Kissimmee and the Disney-area vacation-home corridor are a short drive; Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami and the Keys are booked the same way.
How much does hibachi catering cost in Florida?
$54.99 per adult for the Classic (two proteins) and $64.99 for the Premium (three), with children at $29.99 and $39.99. There is a 10-guest minimum and a $500 minimum order. Travel is $50 flat for the first 50 miles, then $1 per mile beyond, tolls included.
Do you cook at Disney-area vacation rentals?
Yes, and it is one of our most common Florida bookings — Reunion, ChampionsGate, Windsor Hills, Solara and the rest of the Kissimmee and Davenport rental corridor. Check with the property manager first: most allow outdoor cooking away from the house, some do not. We set up on the pool deck or the driveway, never under a screened lanai.
What about the afternoon thunderstorms?
Central Florida storms in summer are heavy and short — usually an hour, usually mid-afternoon. We plan the cook time around it rather than cancelling. What we need is cover over the grill, not over the guests: a garage with the door open, a carport, or a pop-up canopy. The chef cooks outdoors year round.
Can you cook under a screened lanai or pool cage?
No. A teppanyaki griddle at full heat throws real flame and a lot of smoke, and a screen enclosure traps both — it also melts. We set up outside the cage, on the driveway, the lawn or an open patio, which is what nearly every Florida house has anyway.
Do you travel to the Keys?
Yes, down to Key West. The Overseas Highway makes it a long drive and the travel line on your quote reflects the real mileage, so you see the number before you commit. Keys bookings are worth grouping — if your party is 20+ the travel spreads thin.
How far ahead should I book in Florida?
Two to three weeks normally. Longer for the snowbird season from January to March and for spring break, when the Orlando and Gulf-coast rental corridors fill first. Hurricane season runs June to November — if a named storm is forecast for your date we reschedule without penalty rather than take the deposit.
